Obituary

Died, in the hospital at Concordia on November 4th, 1904. Mrs. Fannie Orenda Martin, aged 41 yrs, 10 mos, and 24 days. Deceased was a daughter of A.H. Bickford, who has lived east of Glasco a few miles for a long time. She was united in marriage to Mr. E.C. Martin, Nov. 8th, 1881, and there were born to this union ten children, nine of which survive the mother. The family have lived in the vicinity of Glasco since the marriage excepting about 8 years spent in Colorado.

The departed was a good wife and mother, and a heavy blow has fallen on the family in which are so many small children. In religious belief she was an Advent, and tried to do the best she could toward all as she understood her duty.

The funeral took place on Saturday, the 5th inst., conducted by Elder B.F. McMillan. The remains were buried in Glasco cemetery, and the large attendance bore evidence of the high esteem in which she was held. Mr. Martin, the husband, thanks all who assisted in the sickness and at the funeral.
