--FORT MILL - Mr. Harold Shelley, 76, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Piedmont Medical Center.
--The service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Unity Cemetery. Dr. Jimmy Parrish will officiate.
--Born in Danville, Va., Mr. Shelley was a son of the late Victor Hugo Shelley and Jessie Sue Underwood Shelley. He graduated from Fort Mill High School in 1954. Mr. Shelley was a U.S. Navy veteran. He retired from Leggett-Myers and was a member of First Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Pinetuck Golf Club.
--Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Shelley; two sons, Dale P. Shelley of Fort Mill and Hal K. Shelley of Rock Hill; two sisters, Jo Ann Holliman of Fort Lawn and Sara Neeley of Indian Land; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
--The family will receive friends at the home, 105 East Oak Street in Fort Mill.
