Mrs. Sarah Jane Eppinger, aged 84, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Martin, Volant, R.D. 1 at 5:30 this morning following an illness due to her advanced age. Mrs. Eppinger was born in Washington county, April 15, 1848, the daughter of Isaac and Mary Daniels, and had been a life long resident of the vicinity. She was a member of the Shenango Presbyterian church. She was preceded in death by her husband twenty nine years ago and by a daughter, Mrs. Emma Miles, Warren, in 1908.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Nelson, London: Mrs. Maud Martin, Volant, and Mrs. Ellis Locke, Plaingrove; three sons John, Charles, and Melvin of Plaingrove; twenty five grand children and fourteen great grandchildren.
