Headline: Last Rites Friday For Mrs. Nora Greer
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2;30 p.m. from the family residence fir Mrs. Nora Greer who died at her home at 1602 Water street Wednesday at 5:30 p. m. after a long illness. Dr. Foy Valentine, pastor of the First Baptist church will be in charge of the final rites with interment in the City cemetery. Seydler funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Greer was born on Dec. 15, 1870, her parents being Sarah Dunway and W. F. May. Later in life she married to Murry C. Greer who preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 1941. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors included a daughter, Grace and three sons, Henry, Pohma Newton and Rollie Armand Greer all of Gonzales; 2 brothers, Johnnie May of Lubbock, and Edward May of Little River; 4 sisters, Mrs. Effie Sharp, Temple; Mrs. Tula Leeper and Mrs. Dona Fitch both of California.
