He was pastor of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church for 35 years, and was also principal of Quincy High School during that time. Married Mary Frances McDonald in Palmyra, Mo. Had one son, Rev. William Corbyn from an earlier marriage, and one daughter, Edith Corbyn who lived in Quincy until after her parent's death.
