SPRINGFIELD -- Milton W. Tebeau, 89, died Jan. 3 at Lakeview Manor in Springfield. He was a native of Effingham County and lived in Garden City a number of years. He was a 1932 graduate of Newberry College and was a supervisor with Amoco before retiring. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Garden City and had served on the Church Council and as church treasurer. He was a member of the Berryville Hunting Club and was the widower of Mila Cullum Tebeau. SURVIVORS: two brothers and sisters-in-law, Arte and Eula Tebeau and Dr. Charlton Tebeau and Willie Tebeau, all of Springfield; and a number of nieces and nephews. VISITATION: 1:30-3 p.m. today at Thomas C. Strickland Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel. FUNERAL: 3 p.m. today at Thomas C. Strickland Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel.
