Died at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 1984,as a result of an automobile accident in Gurley. She was 46, a native of Jackson and resident of Rt. 1 Ethel. She was co-owner of Unlimited Lady Dress Shop and Villager Dress Shop in Baton Rouge and Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio in Zachary. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home, Clinton, 1 p.m. To religious services at 4:00 p.m. Friday. Burial in Jackson Cemetery. Survived by mother, Mrs. Ethel Thriffiley Doming, Ethel; four daughters, Mrs. Jay W. (Sarah) Kemp, Gurley, Mrs. Joey B. (Sandy) Fudge, Partricia F. and Laura D. Pipes all of Ethel; three sisters, Mrs. Nolan (Myrtle) Gill and Mrs. Douglas (Dianne) Paoluccio, both of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Charles (Doris) Stott, Mosheim, Tenn.; a brother, Ives Doming, Jr., Indianapolis, Ind.; three grandchildren, Kaycee Lea and Jay Warren Kemp, II and Ashley Marie Fudge. Preceded in death by husband, Samuel Yost Pipes, Jr., father Ives Joseph Doming; and a sister Leadie Marie Doming.
Pallbearers will be Marks Easterly, Joe T. Howell, Jr, David Rogers, Dent Bankston, Ronnie, and Nolan Gill, Jr. and Sam Graves. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bucky Powell, Joey Fudge, Jeff McKnight, Doug Paoluccio, Chuck Stott, Dr. Tom Graves, Carl Allen Burlingame, Jr., Nolan Gill,Sr, Clyde Melancon, Marks Easterly, Jr., and Micheal Kelly.
