Although her death certificate spells her middle name Forman, it is more likely Foreman. She may have been named after Anderson Foreman who was married to her aunt Mary "Polly" (Pilcher). It seemed common practice for her parents to give middle names of their friends, acquaintances, or in-laws, to their children (Shields, McCafferty, VanBergen as other examples).
