Mr. Elliott was born on March 3, 1918, in Altus, Oklahoma to Sam H. and Cora Effie (Perkins) Elliott. A life long resident of Harmon County, Tinker loved working with model airplanes, talking on his ham and CB radios and working on just about any electronic device that needed "tinkering" on.
Preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Glenn Elliott, he is survived by three nieces, Gayle Dennis of Hollis, Jeanell Hintergardt of Hale Center, Texas and Ann Hayes and husband Lloyd of Hollis along with many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Tinker Elliott will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 27, 2011, at the O.M. Cemetery with Bruce Sexton officiating. Services are under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home of Hollis.
