Ellen R. Bilko of Countryside Nursing Home, 8221 Lamor Road, East Lackawannock Township, formerly of Canterbury Court, Sharpsville, passed away at 9:20 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, in United Community Hospital, Pine Township, following an extended illness. She was 70.

Mrs. Bilko was born April 7, 1933, in Brownsville, Pa., to Daniel and Elizabeth Gregga
Fedronich.

She was a graduate of Brownsville (Pa.) High School. A homemaker, Mrs. Bilko enjoyed gardening and especially decorating for the holidays. Mrs. Bilko was an avid bingo player.

As a member of Church of Notre Dame in Hermitage, she had worked for many years as
a cafeteria helper in the elementary school.

Her husband Leonard D. Bilko, whom she married Nov. 20, 1954, survives at home. She is also survived by: her two daughters, Karla Ann Porter and her husband Daniel, Sharon; and Suzanne Davis and her husband Eric, Delaware, Ohio; two brothers, Lawrence S. Bilko and his wife Joan, Hermitage; and Stephen D. Bilko and his wife Billie, Hilliard, Ohio; two sisters, Ann Hackney and Mary Ann Sposky, both Detroit; and seven grandchildren, Daniel and Lisa Porter; Sarah and Katie Bilko; Erik and
Megan Bilko; and Ethan Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.
