FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. L.A. WAYMAN
Funeral services for Mrs. Lewis A. (Adena Alma) Wayman, 86, who died July 25 at the Pullman Convalescent Center where she had been a resident for eight months, were held at 11 am Tuesday, July 27 at the Kimball Funeral Home with burial following in the Pullman City Cemetery.
The Rev. William G. Berney Officiated, Mrs. John A. Davis sang, the "Beautiful Garden of Prayer" and was accompanied by Mrs. Otto W. Rechard.
Mrs. Wayman was born May 11, 1885 in Hoyleton, IL., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Steinwald. She grew up in Illinois and in January 1910 married Wayman in Irvington, IL. They moved to Pullman in 1910 and settled in the Ewartsville area, just west of Pullman, where they farmed.
Wayman died Nov. 26, 1955 and Mrs. Wayman conyinued to live on the farm until 1964 when she moved to Pullman. She was a member of the Simpson United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Chester E.., Pullman, Lewis A. Jr., Clarkston, two daughters, Mrs. J.F. (Mary Lou) Stuart, Elk, Mrs. Harry (Etta) Wegner, Pullman, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two nieces.
Pallbearers were David Wayman, Clarkston, Eric Wegner, Pullman, Alan Wegner, Pullman, Louis Stuart, Elk, all grandchildren, Michael Rozelle, Colfax and John Kamerrer, Pullman.
