Robert died at the age of 85 at Newnan Hospital following a brief illness. On the 25th of September he married the love of his life Miss Nannie O. Newman in Lee County, Alabama. She would pass away from the flu on 28th Feb 1920.
A retired merchant, Mr. Arnold was a lifelong resident of Newnan, Coweta, Georgia. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church, Coweta Lodge No 60, F.&.A.M. and the B.P.O.E.
Funeral services were held at the graveside. Rev. Jack Snell and the Rev. Kenneth Shaw officiated.
