Jesse Abbott, 92, of 1809 Greenlawn Ave., died at 3:38 a.m. today in his home following an illness of three years. Born in Hope, Ind., Mr. Abbott had lived in Lima 40 years.
Survivors include a son, Ellis, 1809 Greenlawn Ave.; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Grapner, 1535 Summit St.; two sisters, Mrs. James Alcorn, Hope, and Mrs. Effie Dixon, Columbus, Ind.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Siferd & Son Colonial Chapel, the Rev. Louis Strahm officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
