Died - At her home four miles north of Stonewall, on Sunday, Januray 21, 1917, Mary Alice Leach*, the wife of W. A. Leach, a well known citizen, after a brief illness from pneumonia, and the remains were interred in the new city cemetery on Monday afternoon.

Deceased was about 42 years old and was an adherent to the methodist faith and lived a consistent and exemplary life, worthy of emulation by those who survive her. She has five children**, the youngest being about 10 years old, and a husband who survives her.

The news joins in deepest sympathy for the bereaved family in the time of their greatest sorrow.

This is the second time within the past week that grim reaper has visited this home, Mr. Leach having buried his mother last Thursday.
