1982, in Tipton County Memorial
Hospital following an illness of
several years.
Born March 16, 1912, in South
Dakota, she was the daughter of Ira
and Vinnie G. Armstrong Kleckner.
March 5, 1938, she was married to
Ralph Spaulding in CarrollCounty
who preceded her in death on May
1, 1980.
A 1930 graduate of Ball State
University, she was a teacher and
also engaged in farming. She was a
member of Mt. Lebanon Church
and Gideon Bible Auxiliary.
Surviving are four sons. Rev.
Hugh Spaulding of Russiaville,
Frank and Mark Spaulding, both of
Sharpsville, and Rev. Nelson
Spaulding of Yadkinville, N.C.;
one brother, Leslie Kleckner of
Camden; and nine grandchildren.
One sister, one brother and one
grandchild preceded her in death.
Services were Wednesday in Mt.
Lebanon Church in Prairie
Township, Tipton County, with
Revs. Bob Freije and Robert
Shoemaker officiating. Burial was
in Sharpsville Cemetery.
