SHAKOPEE -- Henrietta Stafsberg, 95, Shakopee, formerly of Brainerd, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2001, at St. Gertrude's Health Care Center in Shakopee.
She was born June 26, 1906, in Byron, to Hans and Nikoline (Johannessen) Stafsberg. She graduated from Akeley High School and received a bachelor's degree from Mankato State College. She worked as a first-grade teacher, spending the last 18 years of her career in Osseo. She was a former resident of Bethany Good Samaritan Village.
Survivors include two sisters, Jennie Stafsberg, Brainerd, and Agnes Horeish, Shakopee; and a brother, Norman Stafsberg, Chicago.
Two brothers and four sisters died earlier.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Bethany Good Samaritan Village with Pastor Lilja Behr officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
Friends may call one hour before the service at Bethany. Memorials are preferred to Bethany Good Samaritan Village. Arrangements are with Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home.
