CHESTER - Ms. Imogene Jeffcoat Church, 92, died Sunday, April 3, 2011, at her residence.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating.
Born Oct. 11, 1918, in Swansea, S.C., Ms. Church was the daughter of the late John and Lula Gertrude Cartin Jeffcoat. She was a graduate of Swansea High School and a retired seamstress.
She is survived by one son, Winston D. "Butch" Church and his wife, Mona; three grandchildren, William Brett Church and Winston D. "Bear" Church, both of Chester, and Kimberly Tester of Boone, N.C.; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
