Ernest E. Henning, 91, 1901 Central Ave., died Friday evening at St. John's Medical Center after a brief illness. A native of Germany, he was an Anderson resident most of his life. In 1964 he retired from Delco Remy as a toolmaker after 42 years of service. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where he had served as deacon and trustee, and Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge. His wife, Hilda, died in 1984. He is survived by a son, Richard E. Henning. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Dr. Douglas Hall officiating. Committal services will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the Wednesday service. Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
