Co. B 93rd Regt Memphis, TN∼The son of George & Magdalene Kiser, he came from Pennsylvania to Illinois with his family in 1843 and married Eva Sarah Smith on Feb. 28, 1861 in Bureau Co., Illinois.
A member of Company B, 93rd Illinois Infantry, he served with his brother-in-law, James Miles Smith, and two of his brothers. Aaron died at Memphis Tennessee and his brother, Benjamin F. Kiser died at Centerville, Georgia of woounds received at the battle of Allatoona Pass. His brother, Lewis Kiser, survived.
