Gary K. Oleson, 61, of Naperville, a computer systems consultant, died of cancer Tuesday, June 25, in Edward Hospital in Naperville. Born in Laurens, Iowa, Mr. Oleson lived in Naperville for the last 24 years. He earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University in Ames and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He also received a doctorate in computer science from Iowa State University. He worked as a systems architect and consultant. "He was above all a husband and father, a man who found his greatest joy in being with his family," said his wife, Kathryn. Other survivors include two daughters, Julie and Kristin; a brother, Ronald; and a sister, Myrna Gordon. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m., until services begin at 2 p.m. Saturday in Grace United Methodist Church, 300 E. Gartner Rd., Naperville.
