Ellen Tinnen married General Marion Addison on 15 September 1898 in Polk County, Arkansas. She was his 3rd wife.

On 20 June 1905, Ellen Addison filed a deceased pensioner's widow application. She swore that she was the wife of G.M. Addison; that her husband died on the 15th day of August 1904. Fannie Crawford swore that she was acquainted with Mrs. Ellen Addison, the widow of G.M. Addison. The Widow's Pension Application was approved on 14 August 1905.

Ellen married James L. Pack on 14 April 1907 in Polk County, Arkansas.
