She had lived here 19 years at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arvid Schweitzer. She came to Indiana from California.
Mrs. Kean was born October 23, 1876, in Russell, Ky., the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Reuther Hill. Her husband, Harry, died in 1929.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, Daughters of Isabella and the Women's Relief Corps.
Surviving are one brother, Earl Hill of Maysville, Ky.; a sister, Lula Kean of Worthington, Ohio; two nieces, and two nephews, Paul Kean of Worthington, Ohio, and Albert Burke of Aurora.
The body was taken to the Karl M. Kyle Funeral Home where arrangements are pending. Friends will be recieved at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday and the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Saturday in the funerall home by the Rev. Fr. Thomas Zimmer. Graveside rites and burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
