Death of an Old Citizen
Dr. Jennings, one of the oldest citizens of Lafayette, and an old and very successful physician died at his residence in this city at an early hour yesterday morning of neuralgia of the heart. Thus one by one the old landmarks are passing away, and soon we will have no link to bind us with the early days save the memory of those who have gone before.
