COLUMBIA — Funeral services for Robert Strickland, 60, of Clarks were to be at 2 p.m. today in the Riser & Son Funeral Home chapel here with the Rev. Eugene Kimble and the Rev. Carroll Hammack officiating.

Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery near Clarks for Mr. Strickland who died Wednesday in the VA Hospital at Alexandria after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Kacy Mae Strickland of Clarks; two sons, James Strickland of Clarks and Edward Strickland of Mesa, Ariz.; one foster son, George Wills of Clarks; his father, Henry Strickland Sr. of Clarks; two brothers, Earl Strickland of Clarks and Henry Strickland Jr. of Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Carr of Columbia and Mrs. Margaret Lee of Longview, Tex.; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dick Reitzell, Earl Fuqua, Billy Ray Reitzell, Sidney Ray Doffitt, Rube Bates and Clifton Burns.
