Clarence "Eddie" Lively, 71, Linn, died May 9, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born July 13, 1930, in Crocker, a son of Clyde and Edith E. Walters Brown. He was married to Lola Kay Vance, who survives in Linn.

He was an Army veteran and member of the VFW in Crocker.

Survivors include: one son...; one daughter...; one stepson...; three stepdaughters...; one brother...; one sister...; and four grandchildren.

One son, Darrell Lively, preceded him in death.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Long Funeral Home in Crocker. Burial will be in Crocker Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday and from noon-1 p.m. Monday.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
