Dr. Leep died at his home in Myrtle Point, age 68 years, 10 months and 10 days. He was born in Kentucky and came to Coos County in 1891[to OR in 1879]. He married[Ella Endicott] in 1892[Mar.9] and to them was born five children, 3 sons and 2 daughters: Homer, Hallie, Freda, Kay, and Stewart Lyle(who died 12 years ago). Hallie died in 1923. There was also a son by a former marriage, Dr. Roland Leep of Bandon. Dr. Leep was one of a family of ten, 8 brothers and two sisters, four whom are still living(3 brothers and one sister).
