He states that Frances is the daughter of Elijah Nowell and Coy Winifred Harrison. She attended school at Centerpoint, Ga, in Webster County. She worked for many years in the Manhatten Shirt Factory of Americus before they moved to Ellaville. In Ellaville, she worked for the Fashion Shop, Angie's Dress Shop, Wilba Deans and Amelia's. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist church and served as secretary of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 191 for a number of years. They had children: Jerry Wayne and Donald Cullen.
