Paul E. Bishop Jr. 52, of Fort Smith, entered into rest, on Saturday, April 2, 2011 in his home.
He was born December 7, 1958 in Fort Smith, Arkansas the son of the late Paul E. Sr. and Peggy Bishop.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Laura Bishop, maternal grandparents, James and Nettie Douglas and an infant.
He was a retired mechanic and of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his loving wife, LaSheila of the home, two daughters, Robin Lee Bishop of Morrilton and Bobbie Bishop of Earl, one son, Christopher Bishop of Fort Smith, brothers, James Bishop and wife Rebecca of Van Buren, AR, John Bishop and wife Joni of Roland, OK, Maurice Levasseur and wife Nancy of Van Buren, AR and Joseph Bishop and wife Loretta of Canton, Ohio, sisters, Jacky Templeton and husband Gary, Jeanna Martin and husband Frank, Joyce Miller and husband Terrell and Janetta Bishop all of Van Buren and Jennifer Sharp and husband Keith of Hartford, Arkansas, five grandchildren, sixteen nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews, brother in law, Carey Baldwin of Sherwood, Arkansas and sister in laws, Ramona Brown, Pamela Raache and husband Mohammed and Valerie Zeiler all of Fort Smith.
Funeral service was held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday April 6, 2011 at Lewis Funeral Chapel with interment at Forest Park Cemetery, Fort Smith.
Pallbearers were James Campbell, Derek Barnes, Larry Langford, John Joseph Bishop, Wayne Templeton and Austin James Bishop. Honorary Pallbearers were James Adam Taber, Hicham Rache, Doug Templeton, William and Cody Reather and Marcus Bishop.
