Mrs. Cannon had worked 10 years for Ramsey's Department Store in Atchison.
She was born Dec. 12, 1909, in Atchison, the daughter of U. B. Sharpless and Sarah Cook Sharpless, and lived most of her life in Atchison.
Mrs. Cannon was a member of the United Methodist Church in Atchison and had been a Gray Ladies volunteer.
She was married to H. R. Cannon in June 1934 in New Carlisle, Ind. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Martha Jean Gleichman, Nortonville, Mich.: three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were Dec. 22 in Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison. Burial was in Monrovia Cemetery west of Atchison.
