Emma Jean Deaton Jackson of 492 Sand Hill Drive, Goldsboro, NC, died February 19, 2000 at the age of 72.
She was born in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and was the daughter of the late Lester and Lois Garner Deaton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Price Gale Jackson. She was a retired Civil Service employee at Seymour Johnson AFB.
She was survived by two daughters, Deborah Grace Jackson Vinson and Donna Jean Jackson Sheppard; two sons, James Allen Jackson of Warsaw, Robert Gale Jackson of Carrollton, Ga.; one sister, Annette Smith of Lilburn, Ga.; two aunts, Kate Kenerly of Loganville, Ga.; Jewel Reed of Tucker, Ga.; and nine grandchildren.
