Mass for Lawrence A. Proesel, 70, of 4556 Virginia av., who died Monday, will be said at 9:30 a.m. today in Queen of Angels church. Mr. Proesel, a retired wholesale commission business head, came from a pioneer Chicago family. His father, John B., was brought here from Germany by his family in 1839. Surviving are the widow, Mary Ellen; two daughters, Marion of Washington, D. C., chief analyst for the department of health, education, and welfare, and Mrs. Catherine Cameron; four grandchildren, and three sisters.
