Obituary:
James Hazlet Armstrong was born in Ohio June 4th, 1828. Leaving there in early life, has lived in several different states. He came to eastern Nebraska from Texas in 1882. In 1888 he took a homestead on North river. Two years ago he came to Ogallala.
Mr. Armstrong was married three times. To him was born 14 children, 7 boys and 7 girls all survive the parents except 1 boy and 1 girl.
Mr. Armstrong also has two brothers.
He was of strong and firm conviction. His last illness was a duration of one month. He passed this life June 8th at the age of 81 years and 4 days.
