Johnetta Colson, 79, of Ramona died Sunday. She was born in Kentucky. Mrs. Colson was retired after employment as a clerical worker for the U.S. Forest Service and as a material specialist for Solar Turbines. She was a volunteer for the Ramona Senior Center and the United Way.
Survivors include her daughters, Rachel Clark of Ramona, Brenda Ball of Orange and Leslie Wood of Keizer, Ore.; sons, Charles Curtis of Astoria, Ore., and John Husted of Alpine; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Friday, First Congregational Church, Eighth and D streets, Ramona. A second service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nuevo Memory Gardens, 532 Ash St., Ramona.
Donations may be made to the Ramona Senior Center. Bonham Bros. and Lee Mortuary is handling arrangements.
