LINCOLN - Diana (Campbell) House, loving wife of Thomas House, passed away Jan. 19, 2009, from a brief, courageous battle with lung cancer, with her husband and daughters at her side, at home. She was born Jan. 22, 1944, in Lincoln, to the late Arthur "Dana" and Leona (Theriault) Campbell. Diana was a stay-at-home mom until her girls were in their teens, then she went to work at Colonial Healthcare, where she worked as a dietary aide until her retirement in March 2007. After retiring, she became an active volunteer in KidCare of America at Community Evangel Temple, known to all of her kids as "Grammie Diana with the hand sanitizer." She was also a very active member in her church.

In addition to her husband of 30 years, she is survived by her three daughters, Veronica Shorey and her husband, Keith, of Burlington, Theresa Savage and her husband, Brian, and Maria Macalino and her husband, Scott, of Lincoln; eight grandchildren, Heather and April Shorey of Burlington, Brian Jr. and Andrea, Jamie Savage, Christopher Smith, Zachary Savage, Desiree and Danielle Macalino, all of Lincoln; and two great-grandchildren, Alyssa and little J.R. She was also looking forward to the birth of her third great-grandchild, "baby Jacoby," in May. She also leaves two sisters, Gloria "Jeannie" Garland of Akron, Ohio, and Nona "Nonie" Blake and her husband, Harold, of Bangor; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Florence Campbell.
Spring interment will be at Lincoln Cemetery. (Clay Funeral Home on-line)
