Allene T. Jones, 88, of Mountain Home, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at a local care center.
At her request, no services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Allene was born March 20, 1918, in Chewelah, Wash., the daughter of George and Emma Turk.
Allene enjoyed traveling with her husband in Europe and throughout the United States.
Allene is survived by: two sons, Gene and Larry Yarnell, son in-law Bud Smith, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Arles and her daughter Kathleen A. Smith.
