Arlene Marie Kasper, 67, Muscatine, formerly of Nichols, died Friday, October 31, 2003, at the Muscatine Care Center.
Services were 2 p.m. today at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City. Carol Kaalberg officiated. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery, Nichols.
Visitation was noon-2 p.m. today at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.
Miss Kasper was born on August 22, 1936, the daughter of Herman and Evelyn (Kron) Kasper.
She lived on the family farm near Nichols most of her life. She was a resident of Trinity House, Muscatine. She worked at Crossroads until 2002.
Survivors include a sister, Bernice Gardner and her husband, William, of Nichols; sisters-in-law, Delores Kasper of Solon, Joyce Hollenbeck and her husband, Gayle, of Atalissa and Ruth Kasper of Muscatine; nieces and nephews, Deb Carter of West Liberty, Diane Cunningham and her husband, Mike, of Marion, Danita Evans and her husband, Grant, of Seven Valleys, Pa., Theresa Sexton and her husband, Brian, of Iowa City, Donald Kasper Jr. and his wife, Dawn, of Nichols and Jim Johnson of Morning Sun; great-nephews and -nieces Shawn, Chase, Justin, Josh, Leanna, Eric, Blake, Alex, Nickolas, David and Lacey; and a special friend, Mary Chatteron.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Leroy and Donald.
