Services for Mrs. Betty Jean Essary were Wednesday at Reeds Chapel with the Rev. Onnie Blankenship and E.G. Baker officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
Mrs. Essary, 27, died Monday at her home after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of the county and a Baptist.
She leaves her husband, Carlos Essary; a daughter, Marilyn; her mother, Mrs. Lula Fesmire of Lexington; two brothers, James Fesmire and Loyd Fesmire, both of Lexington; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Mae Renfroe, Mrs. Loraine Dunivant, both of Lexington and Mrs. Lucille Roberts of Chicago; and her grandmother, Mrs. Dolly Smith of Lexington.
