Services for Mrs. Sarah Jane Vanpelt Day Bell, 72, were conducted Monday at 11 from the Antioch Church by the Rev. C.A. Byrd and Brother Joe Cooke VanDyke.
Mrs. Bell died Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Odie Pirtle, near Center Ridge. She was a victim of cancer.
Mrs. Bell was a member of the Center Ridge Methodist Church.
In addition to Mrs. Pirtle, she leaves another daughter, Mrs. Zula Day Sellers of the community; a son, Jack Day of near Lexington and a stepson, Carlie Bell of Brownsville.
Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
