He was born Jan. 12 1919, in Elgin, the son of Carlo J. and Pauline (Conti) Bosio.
He was employed by Elgin Fruit & Produce, was previous owner of the Halfway House Tavern in Dundee and was a member of the VFW of West Dundee
Surviving are two sons, Anthony (Patricia) Bosio of Elgin and Charles C. (Patricia) Bosio of Carpentersville; four grandchildren and a step-grandchild. Along with his first wife Theresa J (Esposito) Bosio.
Besided his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife, Lanita L. (Duewel) Bosio (whom he married June 24, 1971) on August 13, 1975; and two brothers, George and Harry Bosio.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Wait-Ross-Allanson Funeral Chapel, Elgin, the Rev. William Knott Officiating. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial, Elgin.
