Wilbur Willet married Anna Fike on August 20, 1899 in Jasper County, MO. They had two children, Francis Gilbert and George Weston. Wilbur married Fredrica Boedeker on June 7, 1918 in St. Joseph, MO. They had six children.

Obituary - Monnett..Wilbur W. Monnett, son of Dr. and Mrs. Spencer Monnett, was born April 2, 1880, at Lebanon, Ind., and departed this life August 10, 1944, at the family home north of Ravenwood at the age of 64 years, 4 months and 8 days. He passed his boyhood days at Avilla and Carthage, Missouri. He was married to Anne Fike in August, 1899. To this union was born one son, Frank G. Monnett of Pontiac, Mich. His wife passed away in the year 1901. On June 6, 1917, he was married to Fredrica Boedeker. To this union was born six children, four daughters and two sons. They are: Freda Monnett, Conception Junction; Charlotte Monnett, Albuquerque, N. Mex.; Cpl. Wilbur Monnett, Seattle, Wash.; Berniece, Cecelia and Herbert Monnett of the home.Besides his companion and family mentioned above, he is survived by one grandson, Kenneth Monnett, Pontiac, Mich., and one sister, Mrs. Ida Spry, Carthage, Mo. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death. On November 21, 1943, Mr. Monnett united with the Ravenwood Methodist church, transfering his membership from the Albany Methodist church. He was a professional musician for eighteen years, playing a trumpet in Arthur Pryor's band for two years. He played in a band in St. Joseph many years, then in King City, and later in the Albany band two years. Mr. Monnett has resided and farmed in the Ravenwood community for 22 years. He leaves to mourn his loss besides the family, a host of friends and neighbors. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon, August 14, at 3:30 from the Methodist church by the pastor, W.W. Elliott. Interment was at Oak Lawn cemetery. A male quartet composed of Raymond Crater, Ed Warren, Donald Warehime and Sgt. Eldon Steiger, sang "Somewhere" and "Blest Be the Tie." Mrs. F.W. Null presided at the piano. Flower girls were Rowena Boswell, Kathleen Shunk, Gueynethia Miller, LaVera Wildish, Norma Anderson, Verna Mae Adwell, Etta Fern Frampton and Mary Waldeier. Pallbearers were Merlin Collinsworth, Henry Moore, Lawrence Waideier, Arthur Auer, Charles Buholt and Roy Adwell
