JENNINGS - Veda J. Groves, 77, Jennings, died Saturday, March 31, 1990, at Norton County Hospital, Norton.
Mrs. Groves was born Veda J. Rees on June 11, 1912, at rural Jennings. She was dead bookkeeper for Curtis Camera Corral at Albuquerque, N.M., for 20 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a sister. Glenitra Tritt of Taft, Calif.; and seven nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at the Jennings Methodist Church, Rev. Dick Near officiating. Burial will be in the Jennings cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Visitation will be after 8:30 a.m. today at the church.
