John Henry Fitzgerald was born January 18,1905 in Wakefield, Kansas. He was the son of John Fitzgerald and Inez Fitzgerald. He married Mae Eva Freeborn on August 28, 1929 in Monrovia, Kansas. They had three children together. They are: John Henry Fitzgerald Jr., Charles William Fitzgerald and Betty Jean Fitzgerald-Johnson. Mae passed away when the children were very young.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Christian Church in Nortonville. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour before services at the church. Family visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at O'Trimble Funeral Home in Nortonville. Memorials are suggested to the Nortonville or Farmington Christian Churches.

He married Bessie Ward in 1941, in Atchison. She survives. Two Grandchildren preceded him in death.

Murry, Mesa, Ariz.; a half brother, Henry Loader, Witchita; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
