James was a freelance writer and an active volunteer at American Cinematheque since 1995. James had a wealth of knowledge of movies and music and absolutely loved every thing Hollywood.
He was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament School (Hollywood, Class of 1968) and Oakwood School (North Hollywood, Class of 1972). James was associated with Elevate Films, 3D Film Festival, and Limitless One. James was a member of Agape International Spiritual Center.
James is survived by his mother, Eleanore (nee Price), his sisters Camille (Bruce) Shibley, Mary (Edward) Hall, brother Dennis (Rebecca) Cremin, his nephew, Eric Shibley, and nieces, Alyssa Shibley, Emma and Julia Cremin, and Megan and Beth Hall. James was predeceased by his father James Howard Cremin, M.D., and brother John.
James did not want a funeral but asked for you to revisit your favorite movie or play your favorite album and pretend that I am enjoying it with you.
James will be interred in the family plot with his father and brother at Calvary Cemetery, Los Angeles.
