Bessie P "Bep" Casburn, 88, passed away, Friday, November 6, 2009 in Arlington, Texas. A graveside service is scheduled for Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Bep was born on September 1, 1921 in Young County, Texas to the late William M. and Agnes (Barron) Slay. She married William R. "Bill" Casburn, July 15, 1938 in Jacksboro, Texas. He preceded her in death on, January 2, 2001. Mrs. Casburn was a member of the Memorial Christian Church. During her lifetime she was very active in her community and took great pride in her town. She was a Charter Member of the Graham Hospital Auxilary, Charter Member of the Graham Women's Club, Beta Sigma Phi Lifetime Member, Christian Women's Fellowship Disciples of Christ, Young County Historical Society, Good Sams RV Club and Lake Country RV Club.

Survivors include; two daughters, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren; sister and several nieces and nephews as well as many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by Bill, her husband of 62 years, her parents William M and Agnes Barron Slay, sister Pauline Mullally and brother Col. Robert D Slay.
