The fourth of at seven children born to Captain John Jr and Helen Heath (Hammond) Worthington of Anne Arundel Co MD, Anne married Colonel Thomas Beale Dorsey Sr in 1746 in Anne Arundel Co MD. They had at least four children, three sons and one daughter.

Anne died just 22 days after her husband.
