Lillian Miller Adkins, 90, of Sandy Hook, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011, in Elliott Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sandy Hook.

Lillian was born November 1, 1920, in Elliott County, the daughter of the late Robert and Roxi Miller.

Lillian was a Christian and member of Sandy Hook United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Elliott County Woman's Club.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Merville Adkins; her two sons, Bobby and Kenneth Adkins; three brothers, Frank, Addie Earl and Burns Miller; and a sister, Joyce Mayse.

Lillian is survived by her two grandchildren, Becky Barrett of Hebron and Scott Adkins of Erlanger; two sisters, Effie Howard of Morehead and Billie Brown of Ashland; and a host of nieces and nephews, friends and loved ones.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2011, at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook with Pastor Warren Vanover officiating. Burial will be in Elliott County Memory Gardens.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Miller, Larry Brown, Johnny Brown, Jeff Brown, Dean Howard, Mickey Miller and Jack Miller.

Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Adkins and Craig Barrett
