Mrs Kate Lyles Douglas, wife of J E Douglas, died Tuesday, June 21 at a hospital in Dallas, Texas of complication from an operation and heart failure.
The body of Mrs Douglas arrived in Sparta Thursday at the home of her parents, Mr & Mrs William Lyles. Services were held at the Church of Christ Friday, with members of the immediate family present except for 2 brothers.
She is survived by her husband and one son, J E Jr.
Mrs Otto Dunbar and Mrs E W Grissom, her sisters, were present at the services as were their husbands and families, and Mrs H J Dunbar and William Bailey.
