Willard Wilson Matthews, 48, 1304 8th Avenue SE, died Monday morning at 8:45 a.m. at Decatur General Hospital.
Services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Ninth Street Methodist Church with Dr. T.J. Chitwood officiting.
Burial will be in the City Cemetery with Guntharp Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Margaret Sparkman Matthews; one son, Willard Lewis Matthews; and other relatives.
Pallbearers will include Marvin L. Yarbrough, Troy Quick, James O. Sims, John E. Reeder, Glin Vincent, G.D. Knight, James G. Sanders and Robert E. Moore.
Honorary pallbearers will include Elzine Price Sunday School Class of Ninth Street Methodist Church.
Mr. Matthews was a veteran of World War II and associated with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co for a number of years.
