---Funeral services for Samuel S. Taylor were held at the Community Presbyterian Church her eat 1:30 today, conducted by the Rev. Wylie F. Steen and the remains were laid to rest in the La Plata cemetery.
---Samuel S. Taylor was born at Pleasant Hill, Missouri on September 20, 1883 and died at Carrollton, Missouri on June 1, 1926 at the age of forty-two years, seven months and four days.
---He was married to Mary Campbell at Bowling Green on May 15, 1917. She died February 8, 1918. On March 1, 1922 he was married to Alba Soul Logan of La Plata and to this union was born a little daughter, Katherine Jane Taylor, aged eighteen months.
---He leaves his wife and child, three sisters, Mrs. William Barnes of Pittsville, Missouri, Mrs. J.C. Simmerman of Pittsville and Mrs. Ace Storms of Lee's Summit, Missouri, together with other relatives and friends.
---Mr. Taylor was employed at the Sinclair Station here and was later transferred to Carrollton and was employed as engineer at the Sinclair Station in that city.
