Daughter of Isaac and Martha Ann McFarland Pickering. Born in Lucian, MS. Married Augustaf Pinkiney "Gus" Breithaupt in Lucian, MS September 7, 1912. They were the parents of Jessie Mae, Isaac Elmer, Ruth Aline, Delphia Delma, Warren Augusta, Barbara Ann and Walter.

Funeral Is Held for Mrs. Katie Breithaupt
Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Pickering Breithaupt who died Thursday, March 24, 1955 in the Natchez Sanitarium at Natchez, Miss., were held in the Foster Funeral Home in Natchez, with the Rev. James W. Crumpton, pastor of the West Side Baptist church officiating. Burial was in Pine Grove Cewmetery at Blade, La. after a service in the Pine Grove Baptist church conducted by the Rev. Smith, pastor of Washington Baptist church of Washington, Miss., where Mrs. Breithaupt was a member.
Mrs. Breithaupt, who had been ill for several months, is survived by her husband, G. P. Breithaupt of Washington, Miss.; two sons, I. E. of Stanton, Miss and W. A. of Ferriday; four daughters, Mrs. Aline Rodriquez of Natchez, Mrs. Delphia Wilkinson of Natchez, Mrs. Barbara Herrick, Dallas, Texas, and Miss Jessie Mae Breithaupt, Washington, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. W. R. Jernigan of Blade, Mrs. O. W. Watson, Sr., Natchez, Miss. and Mrs. L. E. Smith, Wesson, Miss.; and one brother, J. E. Pickering, Brookhaven, Miss.
